Due to sustained growth and increased demand, an exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and ambitious Technical Sales Representative to spearhead the growth of our client's Roads & Pavements business across VIC. 🎯 What You'll Be Doing:

Drive Business Growth:

Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities within the roads and pavements sector.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline, securing key projects across VIC, SA, TAS

Account Management & Relationship Building:

Foster meaningful, long-term relationships with existing and new clients, including asset owners, consulting engineers, contractors, and government stakeholders.

Become a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and support.

Technical Expertise & Solution Selling:

Provide tailored technical solutions, interpreting client needs, technical drawings, and specifications.

Prepare compelling proposals and tender submissions, effectively presenting our client's unique value.

Project & Sales Cycle Management:

Proactively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and project delivery.

Ensure meticulous CRM management, keeping records updated and accurate.

Client Support & Technical Liaison:

Coordinate with specialist internal engineers, providing on-site technical support when required.

Occasionally undertake interstate travel and flexible working hours when necessary to meet project demands.

🥇 About You:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical or construction-related sales role.

Existing relationships or experience within the roads, pavements, or broader construction industry.

Strong ability to build rapport quickly and effectively communicate complex technical solutions clearly.

Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset—able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and achieving ambitious revenue targets.

Solid organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

A valid, full, and clean driving licence.
Highly regarded (but not essential):

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or Business.

Prior experience or knowledge of roads construction and asphalt industry.
