About Our Client
Our client is a renowned and innovative guerrilla and ambient marketing company, trusted by SMEs through to internationally recognised brands across Australia. With an established presence and reputation for delivering high-impact campaigns, we are now seeking a driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the Marrickville office.
About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will manage and grow an active portfolio of advertising agency clients. You’ll step into a vibrant client base, consisting of 100-200 leading brands from sectors including supermarkets, alcohol, technology, finance, and government.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent employment experience in any organisation (including non-career roles).

Prior sales or media buying experience highly regarded.

Strong communication skills, particularly telephone-based engagement.

Professional, proficient written communication.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Excel.

Ability to handle basic commercial maths, including percentage calculations and arithmetic.

Ability to commit to a full-time role for at least two years; flexibility to accommodate university students finalising studies.

Can provide two managerial references (colleague or personal references not accepted).
Expectations

Full-time, on-site role in Marrickville with typical hours from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Occasional additional hours required during peak periods, compensated via commissions.

Quarterly interstate travel required.

Year-end office closure for approximately one week.

Computer and mobile phone provided.

Regular daily, weekly KPIs and monthly sales targets to achieve.
